Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing which members are actually jewish. A lot of people join the site just to get points, so I would assume that at least half the members are not jewish. It it a bit annoying if, like myself, you really only want to meet someone jewish. I have virtually given up on this site as a place to meet guys. I think I have more chance on 2ofakind. But, the best way to meet men is to go through friends and get introduced. Anyhow, good luck, maybe you'll do better than me.

I think if they keep kosher there's a reasonable chance they are Jewish. And if they like Jewish food. And use Yiddish. At least they'd fit in and show willing

A Jewish friend of mine recently informed me that my mother's maiden name is Jewish. Until then I never had any idea I had Jewish ancestry although I've always felt drawn to Jewish things. Sometimes we might not even know ourselves why we are at a site like this!

Hola to all, I just joined this site. No, I am not jewish, at least not that I would know for sure. I am from Spain (living in Germany), my grandmother from a small town in Avila, which was mostly sephardic back 500 years ago, before the sephardic jews where forced by the Spanish Inquisition to convert or to leave Spain. So who knows what my roots are. Since my youth I was drawn to the jewish culture. Why? I have no idea, it was something very deep rooted that I could not explain. I wanted to experience Israel, especially I wanted to work in a kibbutz. Destiniy had other paths for me, but I kept that dream all this years. Then I got badly hurt and landed in the wheelchair with a paraplegia and I thought the dream to visit Israel would be impossible. But this wish was quite persistent and during the years could not be buried. Now 30 years later that "draw" to Israel has surfaced again very strongly. And this time I am planing on visiting Israel. Maybe through this site I can find people that help me with information about accessibility, information about the country. I would be travelling alone in a wheelchair....so it will be quite an adventure. I am not searching the catholic religious paths. Just want to experience Israel with its people and culture. Thank you, muchas gracias for any information you can give me. saludos

Dear Waskwy and Annethewriter Anything and anyone can be a fake here. You may check the kosher button even if you are an English breakfast gourmand. Who would know? I have been member of this platform for two days and I am already pretty sure that many of the uploaded portraits are not authentic ie they are taken from fashion magazines, etc. Though I really cannot understand the non-Jews´ great zeal for Judaism - their honesty (in words and picture) here is admirable. Nonetheless, on a Jewish platform, as a Jew, I would rather wish to establish contacts with kugels and bagels rather than with shickses and goyim.

Why Should it matter!!! This is a great platform to get to know Jewish people and to learn from them. They are masters of many things but the most important is that they have been choosen by GOD to lead the rest of us. Like children we have raised tantrums of ignorance over the centuries battling the very truths we are all looking for. It is right under our nose. We are like the donkey asking where his tail is and he knows its on his ass. DA... WORLD WAKE UP!!! To the Jews that use this site, it is yours to reach out and educate someone. Iam in Canada, iam waiting, Iam listening, Anyone in Israel willing to take the first step and really intorduce to me the Jewish Culture and an insight from them about being a Jew

Why are some of u Jews so freaked out that a gentile is interested in your religion or way of life. The more u educate the less rockets that fly into Israel. You need the support of the world. Dont call me a SHICKSES, it only shows your level of intelligents and does nothing for Israel. Shame on YOU>
