MARRIED MAN LOOKING FOR WIFE! I've just had an email from a married man of 30 looking for a serious relationship/marriage! How is that possible you may ask? Good question. Well, apparently this gentleman thinks it would be great fun to look on line for a date, and if it leads to marriage all the better! Why divorce one wife before you have obtained another one to replace her! Makes sense .... I suppose ... to some. People do this with jobs don't they. It is a fact that an employed person applying for a job has a better chance of getting a job than an unemployed person, Why is this? Well, an employed person is far more attractive to an employer than an unemployed candidate. This is because there is often a presumption, rightly or wrongly, that the employed candidate must have something special as they are already employed. The interviewer is much more amenable from the outset to the already employed candidate and he/she stands a far better chance of getting the job. This presumption of the employed candidate having something special is all very well, that is until the references arrive! It is not unusual for an employee to praise an employee in order to get rid of him/her! Employed candidates are much more confident and self assured at interviews. They have nothing to lose ... They can afford to be relaxed and breezy. Their immediate livelihood is not at stake and the humiliation of rejection is not so acutely felt. Not so the desperate unemployed who has been rejected many times. So why is it that so many sensible, highly educated, smart, 21st century women choose a married man to date when there is a perfectly acceptable available single man standing next to him? Could it be the married man's confidence? Married men in my long experience are so much more assured with women and more adept at dealing with them than their single counterparts. They, unlike single man are not phased by anything a woman might say. They understand the female psyche pretty well. Married men also often exude understanding, knowledge, self-assurance and confidence galore. This should come as no surprise, as married men have many years experience of managing a woman and on a 24/7 basis too. They understand the female mind much better than single man and know exactly what to say and do and most importantly what NOT to say and do! Single men on the other hand are still struggling to try and fathom even 10% of the female mind. Regrettably, single man just don't have the necessary 24/7 experience needed to make an impression on a lady that a married man does. And what of divorced men? Well, that's for another time ......! |
